Bio

The primary focus of my employment law practice is representing plaintiffs in employment law disputes involving wage claims, discrimination, restrictive covenants and executive compensation.

Recent accomplishments include: On the fifth day of a jury trial, achieved $800,000 settlement for an employee who was terminated after requesting intermittent leave to attend to his cancer treatments. Obtained a $1M settlement on behalf of a senior executive whose former employer terminated him and refused to pay commissions and deferred compensation that were due and owing. Prosecuted and successfully settled a gender discrimination and breach of contract claim on behalf of a physician/medical researcher against Harvard Medical School and two of its affiliated hospitals. Prosecuted and successfully settled an age discrimination claim before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination on behalf of an employee. Negotiated favorable separation packages for numerous professionals.

A graduate of the University of Chicago, I received my J.D. degree from Stanford Law School where I was Note Editor of the Stanford Law Review and received the Johnson & Swanson Scholarship for extraordinary contribution to the Stanford Law Review. Among the honors I earned at Stanford, I won Best Oral Advocate and Best Team at the Marion Rice Kirkwood Moot Court Competition. I clerked for The Honorable A. David Mazzone of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
