Originally from a small town in southeastern Michigan, I recently received my JD at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Before law school, I graduated from the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor in 2013 with a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish. After college, I volunteered with AmeriCorps State and National for a year, working at a non-profit in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. I then honed my financial skills with the State of Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development, where I gained experience working with both the tax and benefit sides of Unemployment Insurance. Moving forward, it is with great enthusiasm that I work to apply my legal skill-set in the fight for wage justice in the U.S.
